Xiamen Airlines, a renowned Chinese full-service carrier, is set to expand its wings by launching regular flights between Beijing Daxing and Doha on October 20th and Xiamen Doha on October 31st.
This expansion is in line with the airline’s strategic partnership with APG, which has been appointed as its offline General Sales Agent in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. This collaboration aims to support the initiation of Xiamen Airlines operations to Qatar, enhancing connectivity and offering passengers more travel options.
The introduction of these direct flights to the Middle East marks the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Qatar. Xiamen Airlines holds the distinction of being the first Chinese carrier to operate nonstop flights from China to Qatar, symbolizing a significant milestone in aviation history.
Enhanced Flight Experience
Both routes will be serviced by the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, ensuring passengers experience spacious and comfortable seats. The First class and Business class seats can recline to a fully flat position of 180 degrees, allowing passengers an enhanced sleeping experience during long-haul flights.
Strategic Collaboration with Qatar Airways
Xiamen Airlines, a member of Sky Team, is also entering a comprehensive collaboration with Qatar Airways, a Oneworld member, to facilitate further connections to key markets beyond Doha, in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. This cooperation implies that both airlines will extend their collaboration to full network interline, through check-in, and lounge access, providing passengers with a seamless travel experience and a wide range of transfer product choices.
