Monica Balli Events Italy fam trip

Monica Balli Events organizes fam trip to Italy for events & wedding planners

Thirteen events & wedding planners from four continents, representing big event agencies or multinationals, spent a week in Tuscany thanks to Monica Balli Events’ My Tuscan lifestyle yearly fam trip.

The trip was actually more than an ordinary fam trip, it’s an authentic full immersion in the region, its customs, traditions, food and sea.

The program, devised to let the fabulous parterre of participants stuck in the local lifestyle, without the stressful agenda that normally characterizes educational events like this, has left adequate space for relax, entertainment and sport, so that everyone of the guests could freely share his Tuscan lifestyle.

The outcome turned to be a collective declaration of love for this enchanting area of Italy, not by chance preferred by VIPs for their marriages and by agencies around the world for top incentive events.

Starting Sunday 29th from the Baglioni Relais Santa Croce in Florence, the group made its first stop at the Fonte dei Medici agritourism, in Val di Pesa, where they spent two days moving away only for a memorable visit to Cantine Antinori, a monument to wine. The huge rooms of the estate allowed full enjoyment of free time as for swimming pool, walks and even a tasting of local wines and cheeses under the guidance of a professional sommelier. On the first evening guests received a visit by Alberto Bertini, founder of BeArt, a Florentine maison of sweaters and T-shirts with the symbols of Florence, well renowned for being worn by the supporters of Fiorentina football team at the Artemio Franchi stadium. On the second night they admired the champagne covers and luxury 24k-gold bottles from K Over.

On Tuesday 1st, at the end of the morning, a transfer to Punta Ala (Grosseto) drove them to two days of pure beach- and pine-forest-based life at the Hotel Baglioni Cala del Porto, one of the most famous Italian luxury resorts, where they could even participate in an exclusive workshop on gold leaf processing under the guidance of one of the greatest specialists, artist Patrizio Travagli.

Finally, on Thursday 3rd last transfer to Forte dei Marmi, a well-known VIP tourism destination, for other two days at the Augustus Hotel & Resort, formerly a villa of the Agnelli family and the very first five-star luxury hotel in town. Two different lifestyles alternated in this phase: bicycle through both the streets of the citadel and its neighbouring villages, and beach at the Augustus Beach Club. A visit to the marble quarries was integrated, the same from which Michelangelo derived the raw material for his masterpieces, with a stop at the marble processing workshop.

Participants include Frieha Altaf (Pakistan), Frank Damgaard (Principality of Monaco), Nadia Duran (Australia), Franc from Weddings by Franc (Ireland), Monsieur Froonk (Germany), Necip Fuat Ersoy (Turkey), Bünyat Özpak (Turkey), Ayse Sabbatini (United Kingdom), Bhavnesh Sawhney (India), Simone Tostes (Brazil), Renato Urbinder (Brazil), Sarah Young (Malta), Sophia Zaïme (France), and Anita Yenovkian (Greece).

The event was realized in effective partnership with: Baglioni Hotels, Augustus Hotel & Resort, Zung the Ninja Photographer (Malaysia), Sam Sacramento photo, Terra Events, Villa Il Garofalo (Florence), K Over, BeArt, Armilla Beauty.

Monica Balli said, “I have been organizing this lifestyle fam trip for years and the thing that makes me most proud of is my guests falling in love with Tuscany and getting back home with the same nostalgia I feel every time I myself walk away. The format allows to “feel” the beauty of this land and to experience its values in relaxation and freedom. I wouldn’t reply it anywhere else, so to underline the word “My” opening the pay-off: I could address all this just to something that I deeply feel belonging to me”.
