New GM at Prague Marriott Hotel

The Prague Marriott Hotel has appointed Robert Grader as the new General Manager.

Robert Grader joins the Prague Marriott Hotel as General Manager with a wealth of hospitality experience gained over more than three decades working in the industry across Europe. He began working for the Marriott hotels in Vienna in 1985 holding various executive positions before he took on the position of Director of Operations at the Hamburg Marriott Hotel. In 1998 he was assigned his first General Manager position at the Stuttgart Marriott Hotel. Subsequently he oversaw hotel operations in Heidelberg, Copenhagen, Warsaw, Budapest and most recently Frankfurt and Heidelberg as a multi-property General Manager. He succeeds William Boulton-Smith, who led the Prague Marriott since 2014.

Grader is known among colleagues for his deep management expertise and his commitment to good business practices. He was previously involved in extensive renovations of the Marriott Hotel in Budapest, and during his time in Warsaw, he played a key role as Business Council Leader for Eastern Europe.

During his career with Marriott, Grader has been the recipient of numerous awards including the Stephan Graff Marriott Excellence Award, the Operational Excellence Award, the Food & Beverage Excellence Award, and the Mustang Award to name a few.
