UEFA

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) is the governing body for football in Europe, representing 55 national associations. Established in 1954 and headquartered in Nyon, Switzerland, UEFA oversees major competitions like the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and the UEFA European Championship (EURO). In addition to its Swiss headquarters, UEFA operates external offices in London, Brussels, and, most recently, Istanbul — strategic hubs that support the organization’s mission to promote and manage football across Europe with excellence, integrity, and global reach.
