The AC Hotel by Marriott Honolulu, a distinctive and highly anticipated urban retreat, has officially opened its doors in the heart of downtown Honolulu. This marks the brand’s first property on the island of Oahu, and it introduces the first business-traveler-driven concept in the area. Offering an innovative approach to hospitality, the 112-room hotel starts at $215 per night, providing a sophisticated option for the essentialist traveler without the added cost of a resort fee.

Strategically situated in Oahu’s leading business district, AC Hotel by Marriott Honolulu offers convenient access to Chinatown’s vibrant nightlife, art, and restaurant scene. The hotel is also near iconic landmarks such as the Hawaii State Capitol, Honolulu Hale, and Iolani Palace. With its contemporary design, the hotel focuses on the essential needs of modern travel, offering an effortless urban escape. Signature elements of the globally recognized AC brand, such as meticulous accommodations, curated public spaces, and intuitive technology, are prominent throughout the hotel.

The hotel’s design features floor-to-ceiling wrap-around windows, revealing expansive, style-forward interiors illuminated by natural island sunlight. The five-story building offers 112 guest rooms that serve as restorative retreats from downtown’s bustling energy. The rooms’ bright, neutral color palette and natural materials provide a soothing backdrop for clarity and creativity. Amenities include floating platform beds, integrated executive desks, maximized storage, and expansive restrooms. Additional amenities include DIY lavender turndown kits, hydration stations, and a state-of-the-art fitness center.

AC Hotel by Marriott Honolulu also serves as an ideal venue for meetings and events, offering various gathering and co-working spaces, including the AC Lobby, AC Library, and AC Lounge. The hotel boasts over 2,500 square feet of dedicated indoor and outdoor executive space, equipped to accommodate a range of business events.

Dining options at the hotel include the AC Kitchen, serving European-inspired breakfast dishes, and the AC Lounge, offering a tapas menu with craft beers, signature cocktails, and globally selected wines. The hotel’s Common Grounds serves made-to-order coffee and breakfast delights.

A unique feature of the hotel is Yours Truly, a hidden speakeasy that pays homage to the building’s history as a satellite post office. This Tiki-inspired speakeasy offers craft cocktails and an eclectic design, complete with a secret entrance, thatched ceiling, bamboo accents, and vintage collectibles.
