Accor Unveils Five Unique Properties Across Asia

Accor, a renowned leader in the global hospitality sector, has recently announced the launch of five unique properties across Asia, marking a significant milestone in the region’s luxury hospitality landscape. These new additions to Accor’s portfolio offer diverse and memorable experiences for travelers, perfectly aligning with the company’s vision to shape the future of hospitality.

Garth Simmons, Chief Executive Officer for Accor in Asia’s Premium, Midscale, and Economy Division, expressed enthusiasm about the new properties. Throughout 2023, Accor has been on a prolific expansion journey, opening 26 properties across Asia. This growth strategy isn’t just about increasing the number of hotels; it’s about enhancing the quality and scale of properties across the Premium, Midscale, and Economy segments.

1. Novotel Jaipur Convention Centre, India

Novotel Jaipur Convention Centre, India:

As the 24th Novotel property in India, this hotel is near the Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre. It offers 226 well-appointed rooms, a Grand Ball Room, breakout meeting rooms, and a 70,000 sq. ft. lawn, catering to various events and celebrations. Dining venues like Food Exchange and Ravanta provide diverse culinary options.

2. Novotel Suites Manila at Acqua, Philippines

Located in Metro Manila’s central business district, this property offers 152 rooms and suites with modern designs, catering especially to corporate travelers and families on extended stays. The hotel features the Tempus all-day dining restaurant, an infinity swimming pool, and a Lobby Lounge with panoramic city views.

3. Mercure Tokyo Haneda Airport, Japan

This hotel blends ancient Tokyo with futuristic elements, featuring décor inspired by Japanese subcultures like manga and anime. With 363 guestrooms, a unique restaurant and bar, a fitness centre, and meeting rooms, the Mercure Tokyo Haneda Airport caters to both leisure and business travelers.

4. Grand Mercure Lampung, Indonesia

Located in Sumatra’s tallest building, this hotel combines modernity with cultural richness. It showcases 344 contemporary rooms, including Pool Suites and a Penthouse with a private indoor swimming pool and a 360-degree city view. The Flamboyant Restaurant and Sora Lounge offer diverse culinary experiences, while the wellness floor features a swimming pool, fitness centre, and spa.

5. ibis PJCC Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

This new addition in Malaysia is set to redefine accessible quality travel. Positioned strategically in Petaling Jaya Commercial City, the hotel offers 161 contemporary rooms, a stylish lobby bar café, a skyline-view swimming pool, a gym, and a children’s playroom. The ibis Kitchen, an all-day dining restaurant, and the hotel’s four meeting rooms cater to both business and leisure travelers.

As travelers gear up for the festive season and plan their journeys into 2024, Accor envisions these new hotel openings as catalysts for reshaping the hospitality industry. So far in 2023, Accor has opened 26 hotels with over 6,000 keys across Asia.
