Anaheim Marriott completes a $32 million guest room renovation, it was announced by Andy Lakefish, Director of Sales & Marketing.
Designed for modern-day convention and leisure travelers, the rooms were reimagined with a residential feel and intuitive usability. The Southern California vibe features sleek, contemporary furnishings and soothing colors in grays and blues. Marriott Hotels’ “Executive Nomad” design theme was conceived for 21st-century road warriors who seek a home-away-from-home and a clean, well thought-out space for the night. As a result, Anaheim Marriott’s next generation guest rooms feature movable furnishings and fixtures to enable people to work individually in their own style or gather as a group.
The most noteworthy enhancements include hardwood style floors, mobile table, and a sliding barn door entry to the bathroom. A work desk, task chair, wall-mounted 55-inch flat screen TV, and custom artwork representative of Southern California round out the room amenities.
These changes represent the completion of the hotel’s two-year long renovation which include the addition of Slice Pizzeria and The Market for grab and go style dining. The Market features a wide range of food and beverage options including Starbucks®, a 17-foot chill wall with grab and go cocktails, kombucha, juice, sodas, and more. One of the Market’s key draws is Bowl-ology, a trending concept featuring both healthy and comfort-food style entrees served in a bowl. With the ability to mix and match your favorite ingredients, there are infinite options available for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a snack.
