Home2 Suites by Hilton Reaches 700 Hotels, Expands Globally

Home2 Suites by Hilton continues its impressive growth with the recent milestone of 700 operating hotels worldwide and over 750 additional properties in development.

As the No. 1 Upper Midscale/Midscale Extended Stay brand according to J.D. Power’s 2024 North America Hotel Guest Satisfaction Index Study for the second consecutive year, Home2 Suites is redefining the standards of hospitality and extended stay accommodations.

Since its launch in 2011, Home2 Suites has made significant strides in the hospitality industry, serving as a pioneer with its thoughtful approach to design, service, and sustainability. The brand’s strategic evolution and global expansion have been driven by a commitment to providing flexible, memorable stay experiences for both leisure and business travelers, while ensuring a resilient hotel product that appeals to first-time and experienced owners.

Currently, Home2 Suites boasts the largest pipeline of any hotel brand in the United States, with properties in all 48 continental states and Alaska. Internationally, the brand is entering new markets, with recent signings in the EMEA region, its first signing in the CALA region, and 60 locations already open in APAC.

With plans to reach 1,000 hotels in the near future, Home2 Suites is establishing itself as a prominent player in the extended stay segment globally.

The brand’s signature offering includes home-like amenities, such as in-suite kitchens, outdoor spaces with grills and fire pits, and the Spin2Cycle, an integrated fitness and laundry facility that helps guests maintain their routines during longer stays.

By listening to guest feedback and keeping up with industry trends, Home2 Suites has refined its offerings and introduced new hotel prototypes that enhance the guest experience and operational efficiency for owners. The latest designs retain bold and modern elements while offering a mix of different suite types, bright lobby spaces for social gatherings, and an expanded grab-and-go market.

Home2 Suites by Hilton also continues to innovate in the food and beverage sector. The brand has piloted a new breakfast menu in the U.S. and Canada to offer guests more customization options.

Additionally, its partnership with Grubhub in the U.S. allows seamless mobile ordering and delivery, bringing local flavors directly to guests’ rooms. The en-suite kitchen experience has also been enhanced, offering guests ample cabinet space, full-size appliances, and elevated kitchenware at no additional cost.

Sustainability remains a core focus for Home2 Suites, with brand standards designed to reduce environmental impact while enhancing guest comfort. From using energy-efficient materials and natural lighting to providing reusable dishware and full-size bath amenity dispensers, Home2 Suites is committed to responsible travel. The brand’s emphasis on environmental performance aligns with Hilton’s broader Travel with Purpose 2030 goals and sets a high bar for sustainable hospitality practices.

Home2 Suites’ vice president of Global Brand Management, Adrian Kurre, commented: “Reaching the milestone of 700 hotels is a testament to our brand’s dedication to guest satisfaction, innovation, and sustainability. We look forward to bringing our award-winning extended stay product to even more markets around the world, giving travelers more options to enjoy our home-like amenities wherever their journey takes them.”

As Home2 Suites continues to expand its footprint and introduce new prototypes tailored to different regions, the brand remains committed to its core values of flexibility, guest choice, and sustainability. This ongoing evolution positions Home2 Suites as a leader in the extended stay market, setting new standards for what travelers can expect from a modern, comfortable, and responsible hospitality experience.
