IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced a strategic partnership with the King Abdullah Financial District Management and Development Company (KAFD DMC) to introduce two new luxury hotels in Riyadh.
The agreement sees the addition of Regent Riyadh KAFD and InterContinental Riyadh KAFD to IHG’s growing presence in the region, alongside the upcoming Kimpton at KAFD.
Positioned in the heart of Riyadh’s King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), these hotels are part of a pioneering vertical city in Saudi Arabia. KAFD stands out as the world’s largest LEED-certified mixed-use business district, embodying sustainable urban living and aligning with the Vision 2030 goals for quality of life and sustainable development.
Scheduled to open in 2027, Regent Riyadh KAFD will be the brand’s debut in Riyadh, offering 250 luxurious accommodations and a host of premium amenities. Guests can look forward to a signature restaurant, two specialty restaurants, a tea lounge, cafes, a luxury fitness facility, a Regent Spa, a grand ballroom, meeting rooms, and exclusive VIP and bridal suites.
InterContinental Riyadh KAFD aims to redefine hospitality with 400 keys and a wide array of dining and leisure facilities. The property will feature five food and beverage outlets, conferencing facilities, a fitness center, spa, swimming pool, and an indoor recreation area, promising a unique experience of luxury and cultural immersion.
