JA Resorts & Hotels ‘1000 Thank You’s’ Initiative Recognizes More than 1200 Medical Heroes with Free Stays

JA Resorts & Hotels are extending the ‘1000 Thank You’s’ initiative of 1000 free room nights.

The initiative is honoring UAE Medical professionals to higher numbers, due to the overwhelming response and number of applications made.

The initiative was launched on the 2nd April as a gesture of appreciation for the hard work and dedication of medical professionals in protecting the local community during the COVID-19 crisis. It includes a complimentary 1-night stay with breakfast, redeemable across 6 hotels in Dubai, including JA Palm Tree Court, JA Lake View Hotel and JA Beach Hotel at JA The Resort, JA Hatta Fort Hotel in the Hajar Mountains and JA Ocean View Hotel and JA Oasis Beach Tower on The Walk, Jumeirah Beach Residence. It was offered to all frontline medical staff including nurses, doctors, administrative staff, ambulance drivers and cleaners that have a valid UAE medical ID and registered their interest.

Applications were received from a wide range of medical facilities and hospitals across the UAE, from surgeons, to radiographers to ICU and charge nurses – all key players in the care of patients and fight against COVID-19. There were also applications from the many heroic volunteer nurses- trained nurses who have come back to service to assist in these challenging times. The confirmation emails will be sent to all participants who registered, to coincide with International Nurses Day on May 12th 2020.

CEO, Anthony Ross saidWe were delighted with the huge response and number of applicants and are looking forward to treating these heroes to a relaxing hotel stay in the future. We did receive a much higher volume than expected, but we won’t disappoint any of these deserving people’.

The JA Resorts & Hotels team will now allocate redeemable hotel vouchers by email to a selection to applicants, to be used in any of the hotels once it is safe to do so, subject to availability before the end of 2020. Applications are now closed.
