Veteran communicator, Mildred Amon, with a distinguished 30-year journey in the hospitality realm, has been entrusted with the pivotal role of director of marketing communication at Alma.
A Filipino stalwart, Amon boasts an illustrious career trajectory dotted with roles that shaped the branding and communication strategies of some of the most prestigious hotel chains. Before gracing Alma with her prowess, she provided consultation to Robinsons Hotels & Resorts, a significant entity under the umbrella of Robinsons Land Corporation.
Amon’s illustrious journey includes directorial roles in marketing communications at Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort, Philippines, as well as communication leadership at Shangri-La properties in Myanmar. Additionally, her expertise was vital in steering marketing communications at Discovery Primea, an entity of the Filipino hospitality giant, Discovery Leisure Company. Her tenure also extends to the esteemed Shangri-La Mactan Resort & Spa in Cebu.
Initiating her career journey in 1994 after completing her Bachelor of Arts from the University of the Philippines Diliman, Amon carved a niche for herself in various communication and public relations roles across the Philippine hotel and corporate landscape.
