A new commercial airline is born in Ecuador, powered by the Next Generation 737-700 aircraft of the prestigious aeronautical company Boeing.
It arrives to connect, initially, the air bridge of greater national juncture: Quito-Guayaquil, with the Galapagos Islands (Baltra and San Cristóbal) that are internationally recognized as one of the main tourist attractions of the country.
In this framework, a special thematic night is being prepared, never before seen in the country’s airline industry, next Tuesday, November 16th, at 6:00 p.m., at the Metropolitan Convention Center of Quito, located in the Bicentenario Park – whose assemblage began on Friday, November 12th – where colors will be revealed, image and uniforms of the new national flag airline.
The main authorities of the National and Municipal Government will be attending this event, as well as stakeholders from the tourism industry, entrepreneurs, strategic partners, and relevant personalities at the local level, to enjoy an unforgettable gala full of great surprises that are being prepared from the Headquarters, located in Quito.
Leading the airline is a top executive businesswoman and expert in the aviation industry, Gabriela Sommerfeld, who stated that “our people are excited to offer our passengers a fresh and modern way to travel. Our airline will exceed expectations and be different from the traditional options available today. When customers fly with us, they will be captivated at every moment of their journey.”
In addition, Gabriela commented that “there is a strong commitment to sustainable operations in all aspects of the trip. We work with a variety of partners and suppliers to incorporate this fundamental pillar into everything we do.”
On the other hand, Boeing and the new Ecuadorian airline have taken on an alliance, which includes the training of their crews, mechanics, dispatchers, marketing team, as well as support in the certification process before the Ecuadorian Civil Aviation Authority.
