BGS Continues Decade-Long Collaboration with Turkish Airlines at VNO

BGS, a leading ground handling, aircraft fuelling, and logistics services, announced the continuation of its longstanding partnership with Turkish Airlines, Turkey’s national carrier, extending its ground handling services at Vilnius International Airport for an additional three years.

This extension is a testament to the mutual trust and satisfaction that have characterized the partnership between the two companies for over a decade.

Under this renewed agreement, BGS will manage ground services for Turkish Airlines flights, operating twice daily from Vilnius International Airport (VNO), and increasing to three times daily during the summer season. This collaboration began in 2013, with the inaugural flight of Turkish Airlines to VNO, and has since flourished, reflecting the shared commitment to excellence between both companies.

Vitalis Dudys, BGS Group Head of Commerce, expressed his pride in continuing the collaboration, stating, “This extension reflects the trust and satisfaction both companies have in each other’s capabilities.”

This renewal underscores BGS’s commitment to delivering top-notch ground-handling services to one of the world’s leading airlines. BGS, a part of Avia Solutions Group, stands as the world’s largest ACMI (aircraft, crew, maintenance, and insurance) provider, boasting a fleet of 192 aircraft operating globally. The group also offers a range of aviation services, including MRO, pilot and crew training, and other integrated solutions.
