Delta Sky Club announced the grand opening of its newly expanded lounge at Miami International Airport.
This expansion adds nearly 4,000 square feet and more than 100 seats, increasing the club’s total capacity by over 50%.
Claude Roussel, Vice President – Sky Clubs and Lounge Experience, expressed enthusiasm for the project. “Miami is an essential hub in the Delta network, and this expansion enhances our ability to accommodate the growth in this vibrant market,” he said.
The renovation draws inspiration from Miami’s iconic elements. The design features a new mosaic that celebrates the city’s Art Deco heritage, and the color scheme echoes Miami’s turquoise waters and sunny skies.
Added amenities are set to improve the guest experience significantly. The lounge now offers a new service buffet and an additional beverage station to cater to the increased number of visitors.
The expansion is tailored to meet the needs of business travelers. It includes single-seat dining tables and a communal table with built-in charging stations, ensuring convenience for those on the go.
Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the H Concourse from the newly expanded area. This view adds another layer of appeal to the lounge, making it a perfect spot for relaxation before flights.
This expansion in Miami is just the beginning of a significant growth year for Delta lounges. New Sky Clubs are set to open in Charlotte and Seattle, along with three Delta One Lounges at JFK, LAX, and BOS airports.
