Delta Sky Club Unveils Second Luxurious Lounge at New York-JFK Hub

Delta Sky Club continues to enhance its offerings at the New York-JFK hub with the unveiling of its second lounge. Located at Terminal 4 near Gate A7, this nearly 14,000-square-foot club can seat over 250 guests and includes a unique covered Sky Deck.

The new lounge operates in tandem with the club on Terminal 4, Concourse B, enabling Delta Sky Club to accommodate over 800 guests simultaneously at JFK. The design of the lounge pays homage to New York City’s diverse and vibrant character, marrying both its grit and glamour in a truly unique way.

The JFK T4-A lounge boasts a variety of distinctive features aimed at providing a premium experience for frequent guests. A cozy fireplace lounge creates a warm ambiance for work or relaxation, while an elegantly secluded nook with lush green seating echoes the privacy of a classic speakeasy. The centerpiece of the club is a grand, 360-degree premium bar, a fitting addition for the city that never sleeps.

Claude Roussel, Managing Director of Delta Sky Club, commented on the opening, “This new Club is beautifully designed and packed with special details that reflect the magic of New York City. But much more than that, it’s a place where our people can deliver Delta Sky Club’s signature hospitality, making each guest feel welcomed and cared for from the moment they step inside.”

As part of Delta’s continued growth, the airline is operating its largest trans-Atlantic schedule ever from JFK this summer, with over 230 daily departures to 95 destinations. Later this year, Delta will introduce new seasonal services to Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro, expanding its offerings for NYC travelers heading to South America.

In an exciting partnership with the Local Flavor program, the JFK T4-A Club will spotlight the culinary creations of rising-star local chef, Elyssa Heller, founder and CEO of Edith’s Eatery & Grocery. Guests can savor Heller’s innovative takes on Jewish deli classics, including a vegetarian latkes, brisket hash sandwich, labneh parfait, and her famous vegan Iced Café Slushie.

Delta’s dedication to enhancing its New York operations is evident in its considerable investments, having pumped over $7 billion into infrastructure at its New York airports since 2010. This includes a $1.5 billion expansion project at JFK, which began in late 2021. With its ongoing projects and enhancements, Delta continues to set new benchmarks for passenger experience and airport hospitality.
