Etihad Airways Doubles Daily Flights to Europe for Summer 2025

Etihad Airways is gearing up for an exciting Summer 2025 with a major expansion in its European flight schedule.

The airline will offer double-daily flights to key European destinations, including Paris, Milan, Rome, Manchester, Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, Barcelona, and Madrid.

Travelers can now enjoy more choices and flexibility when flying to Europe from Abu Dhabi, with morning and evening departures tailored to suit various travel preferences.

The newly enhanced schedule also includes increased frequencies for seasonal routes. Flights to Malaga, for instance, will rise to five times per week, catering to travelers looking to explore the sun-soaked Spanish coast.

Beyond Europe, Etihad is also adding more flights to its global network, such as daily flights to Bali for the summer season and an increase to ten flights a week to Sydney. This expansion underscores Etihad’s commitment to providing a seamless travel experience and supporting tourism growth in Abu Dhabi.

Busan Green and Growing

Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer at Etihad Airways, expressed the airline’s excitement about the new routes: “We are delivering on our strategic promise to serve more key destinations twice daily as fast as we can, and our summer schedule underscores our commitment to growth and further supporting tourism in Abu Dhabi. By aligning our schedule to offer 2pm departures from Abu Dhabi, we provide guests with convenient check-out times from their hotels, allowing them to make the most of their stay in our beautiful city.”

The double-daily flights are designed to cater to different traveler needs. Morning arrivals offer tourists the advantage of early hotel check-ins, giving them extra time to explore the city’s attractions. Evening arrivals are ideal for those who prefer a smoother transition after work or other commitments. Business travelers, in particular, benefit from schedules that accommodate full working days at both the beginning and end of their trip.

Adding to its extensive network, Etihad is excited to introduce new destinations such as Warsaw and Prague, further expanding its reach across Europe. More route announcements are expected soon, providing even more options for travelers seeking to explore new places.

As a leading global hub, Abu Dhabi continues to strengthen its position with Etihad’s expanded schedule, offering smooth connections to key destinations worldwide. Ongoing strategic enhancements in the timetable ensure that passengers enjoy a more seamless and convenient travel experience.

Etihad’s complimentary stopover programme further enhances this connectivity by allowing travellers to extend their layovers into memorable stays with up to two free nights at premium hotels in Abu Dhabi, highlighting the city’s growing appeal as a must-visit destination.
