JetBlue Completes ABC Islands Network with NYC-Bonaire Nonstop Service

JetBlue has officially launched its new nonstop service between New York’s JFK International Airport and Bonaire’s Flamingo International Airport, completing its connections to all three of the Dutch Caribbean’s ABC Islands—Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao.

Operating twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays, this new route is the only nonstop service between New York City and Bonaire, enhancing JetBlue’s extensive Caribbean network.

Bonaire, renowned for its pristine beaches, unique marine life, and rich cultural experiences, is the latest addition to JetBlue’s expanding lineup of Caribbean destinations.

Travelers can now fly directly from New York to Bonaire, a destination often described as a “diver’s paradise” thanks to its crystal-clear waters and vibrant coral reefs. Beyond diving, the island offers luxurious accommodations, world-class dining, outdoor adventures, and a variety of natural attractions, including animal sanctuaries, cactus-filled deserts, and national parks.

To celebrate the launch, JetBlue is offering limited-time $99 one-way fares exclusively on its website, jetblue.com. This promotional fare provides travelers with a budget-friendly opportunity to explore Bonaire while enjoying JetBlue’s award-winning service.

The airline’s Airbus A320 aircraft will serve the route, equipped with fast, free Fly-Fi® broadband, complimentary snacks and drinks, and in-seat entertainment options.

Commitment to Caribbean Travel and Tourism

This new service aligns with JetBlue’s JetForward strategy, which focuses on expanding leisure and VFR (visiting friends and relatives) routes. With Bonaire now added to its Caribbean map, JetBlue cements its status as a leader in leisure travel to the region, offering more destinations from New York-JFK to Latin America and the Caribbean than any other airline.

Boosting Bonaire’s Tourism Accessibility

According to Miles Mercera, CEO of Tourism Corporation Bonaire, the addition of JetBlue’s nonstop service reflects growing interest in the island. “Welcoming JetBlue as an airline partner marks a significant step in our commitment to making our beautiful island more accessible to North American travelers,” he said, highlighting the collaboration that brought this new connection to life.

Bonaire International Airport’s CEO, Maarten van der Scheer, echoed this sentiment, celebrating the increased connectivity that JetBlue’s twice-weekly service provides.

With this enhanced accessibility, Bonaire is set to welcome a new wave of visitors eager to experience its warm hospitality, vibrant landscapes, and unparalleled underwater scenery.

Book Directly for Exclusive Benefits

JetBlue encourages travelers to book directly through jetblue.com to secure the lowest fares and access exclusive benefits, such as earning double TrueBlue points, fare promotions, and seamless seat selections. By booking through JetBlue’s platform, customers also gain access to 24/7 customer service and additional options for upgrades and points pooling.

With JetBlue’s latest route addition, travelers from New York can now easily access the diverse attractions of all three ABC Islands. Whether it’s Aruba’s beaches, Curaçao’s cultural hotspots, or Bonaire’s underwater marvels, JetBlue continues to make the Caribbean more accessible for adventure-seekers and leisure travelers alike.
