ITA Airways is expanding its connections between Rome Fiumicino and Tel Aviv Ben Gurion for the Summer 2024 season, now offering two daily flights.
Starting June 2024, the airline will add an extra daily frequency between Rome and Tel Aviv. The flight will depart from Rome at 10:50 pm, arriving in Israel at 3:10 am. The return flight from Tel Aviv will depart at 5:15 am and arrive in Italy at 8:00 am*.
These flights will be operated with the Airbus A321neo, the largest of Airbus’ A320neo Family. This marks a significant milestone for the company as it is the first narrow-body aircraft featuring a three-class configuration: Business Class (12 seats), Premium Economy (12 seats), and Economy (141 seats, including 12 dedicated to Comfort Economy). The new A321neo is both efficient and quiet, boasting 22% lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions per seat, as well as a 50% reduction in noise impact compared to previous generation aircraft in its category.
Passengers on board the Airbus A321neo will have access to an immersive “IFE” entertainment system, featuring a bi-monthly selection of movies, TV series, music playlists, interactive games, and a 3D interactive flight map. Additionally, a WiFi connection system enables passengers to connect their personal devices to the in-flight network.
Tickets for the new ITA Airways flights will be available for purchase starting Thursday, April 11th on ita-airways.com, through the airline’s customer centre, travel agencies, and airport ticket offices.
