New JetBlue Routes Link FLL with Philly and Ecuador

New JetBlue routes link FLL with Philly and Ecuador this summer, strengthening the airline’s presence in South Florida and reconnecting passengers with two key destinations. Starting in July, JetBlue will resume daily nonstop service from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) to both Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport (GYE) in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

The move reaffirms JetBlue’s role as Fort Lauderdale’s leading premium leisure carrier. With these additions, the airline will operate more than 70 daily flights to over 30 destinations from FLL—more than any other airline serving Caribbean and Latin American markets this summer. The expansion also reflects a 6% year-over-year increase in departures from the region, along with a 60% rise in lie-flat seat availability compared to last year.

JetBlue’s return to these routes comes with attractive launch fares. Tickets are now on sale at jetblue.com with one-way fares starting at $69 to Philadelphia and $119 to Guayaquil. The carrier is using its Airbus A320 aircraft, which includes complimentary name-brand snacks and drinks, free high-speed Fly-Fi® internet, and seatback entertainment for every traveler.

Summer Schedule: Twice Daily to Philly, Daily to Guayaquil

Flights to Philadelphia will begin July 3, 2025, with two daily departures in each direction. Morning and evening options will offer flexibility for both business and leisure travelers.

  • FLL to PHL: Flight #2016 at 8:00 AM, Flight #2202 at 4:10 PM
  • PHL to FLL: Flight #429 at 11:45 AM, Flight #217 at 7:55 PM

Service to Guayaquil starts on July 17, 2025, with one daily round-trip flight.

  • FLL to GYE: Flight #1255 departs at 10:00 AM, arrives at 1:30 PM
  • GYE to FLL: Flight #1256 departs at 2:40 PM, arrives at 8:09 PM

This expansion not only restores routes that were previously paused during JetBlue’s broader network optimization effort but also showcases the carrier’s agility in responding to demand and aircraft availability. As travel demand increases across both domestic and international markets, JetBlue is seizing the opportunity to rebuild key connections and enhance its offerings in South Florida.

Philadelphia, with its blend of history, urban culture, and growing tech scene, remains a top destination for East Coast travelers. Meanwhile, Guayaquil is a crucial hub in Ecuador, serving as a gateway to the Galápagos Islands and offering travelers access to rich coastal culture, commerce, and biodiversity.

JetBlue’s network strategy continues to focus on value and convenience, pairing desirable destinations with perks that enhance the flying experience. By resuming these two routes, JetBlue is not only making it easier for travelers to visit friends, family, or vacation spots—it’s also reinforcing its reputation as a preferred airline in the region.

With an expanding network and customer-first amenities, JetBlue is charting a confident course through the 2025 travel season. Whether you’re headed to a historic city on the East Coast or to South America’s Pacific coast, the airline is ready to take you there—nonstop from Fort Lauderdale.
