Summer 2024 is poised to offer more delightful destinations to avid travelers, thanks to Smartwings’ expanded flight schedule.
The airline recently announced the introduction of regular flights connecting Prague and Brindisi, Italy. Commencing on 3 June 2024, these scheduled flights will operate twice a week, specifically on Mondays and Thursdays.
Italy, with its rich history, vibrant culture, and exquisite cuisine, has always been a top-tier holiday spot. Recognizing this demand, Smartwings isn’t just stopping at Brindisi. Their 2024 summer flight itinerary will also encompass other stunning Italian destinations such as Lamezia Terme, Olbia, Cagliari in Sardinia, and Catania in Sicily.
The detailed schedule for the Prague-Brindisi route is as follows: Flight QS1024 will take off from Václav Havel Airport Prague at 19:20, ensuring passengers touch down in Brindisi by 21:35 local time. Conversely, the return journey, Flight QS1025, is set to depart Brindisi at 22:20 local time, landing back in Prague at 00:35 after midnight. Travelers will experience this journey aboard the Boeing 737 aircraft, boasting a seating capacity of 189 passengers.
For those eager to book their summer escape, tickets to Brindisi are now available for purchase on both Smartwings and Czech Airlines websites, as well as through various flight ticket vendors.
Yet, Brindisi is not the sole addition to Smartwings’ burgeoning roster of destinations. Another enticing offering for summer 2024 is the direct flight from Prague to the largest island of the Azores, São Miguel. Starting 26 April 2024, this route will also run twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Continuing its trajectory of growth, Smartwings is set to offer direct flights from Czech airports to an impressive total of over 70 destinations under the 2024 summer flight schedule. The airline is also ramping up the frequency of flights on existing, highly-favored routes, ensuring passengers have an array of options for their summer travels.
