The enhancements are aimed at modernizing guest spaces while retaining familiar features, as Princess Cruises prepares the vessel for extended itineraries and a long deployment in the Australian market.
A refreshed onboard experience after Singapore drydock
The most visible change onboard is the introduction of O’Malley’s Irish Pub, a venue that has become one of Princess Cruises’ most popular bar concepts across the fleet. Replacing the former Wheelhouse Bar, the pub offers seating for 134 guests, including 12 seats at the bar, and is designed to create a relaxed, social atmosphere supported by live music.
The menu focuses on classic pub-style comfort food, with options such as burgers, fish and chips, and late-night snacks. An expanded beverage list includes curated beer and whiskey flights, positioning the venue as both a casual dining option and a late-evening gathering space. Princess Cruises has increasingly leaned on recognizable, repeatable concepts like O’Malley’s to give frequent cruisers a sense of familiarity across different ships.
Another key upgrade is the transformation of Gatsby’s Casino, which has been redesigned to improve layout and guest flow. The updated space features a new casino bar, upgraded gaming equipment, and refreshed cashier areas, alongside traditional casino offerings such as blackjack, roulette, and slot machines. The drydock also saw the addition of a new EFFY Lounge, replacing the former internet café. The lounge showcases pieces from the New York City-based jewelry brand EFFY, known for its gemstone-focused designs.
