EVEN Hotels, a subsidiary of IHG Hotels & Resorts, a global leader in the hotel industry with over 6,200 destinations across 19 brands, is experiencing significant growth and positive acclaim from guests and owners alike.
This comes in the wake of the brand unveiling its reimagined prototype and brand identity. The brand, renowned for its upscale, select service, and wellness-centric ethos, has announced plans to inaugurate seven more properties across the U.S. by the end of 2024, marking a nearly 40% increase in its national footprint. This expansion will also see the integration of its newly refreshed look and offerings across its portfolio.
Enhanced Prototype and Wellness Integration
EVEN Hotels’ evolved prototype features a flexible design suitable for new builds, conversions, and renovations, reducing construction and operational costs for owners compared to its previous model. It also accommodates varying definitions and routines of wellness among travelers. The brand integrates wellness elements throughout the guest experience, offering three unique room types equipped with exercise options, spa-like showers, complimentary nightly tea service, and a signature sleep experience.
EVEN Hotel Charlotte: A Pioneering Venture
Scheduled for a late 2025 opening, EVEN Hotel Charlotte will be the inaugural property to fully incorporate the brand’s new design prototype. Situated near Charlotte Douglas International Airport, this next-generation hotel, part of a mixed-use development owned by Royal Panthera, will feature 131 guest rooms, approximately 1,700 square feet of event space, and the brand’s signature Athletic Studio and EVEN Kitchen & Bar custom restaurant concept.
Fast-Paced U.S. Growth
EVEN Hotels is witnessing rapid expansion across the U.S., with EVEN Hotel Austin Uptown set to open by the end of 2023 and EVEN Hotel Waco – University Area scheduled for late 2023. The brand is also extending its presence in the Pacific Northwest and Florida, with new properties in Beaverton, Ore., Bozeman, Mont., Orlando, and Miami’s Sweetwater – Doral neighborhood.
A Vision for Wellness-Minded Travel
Raul Ortiz, VP, Global Marketing and Brand Management for EVEN Hotels, expressed optimism about the brand capturing a larger share of travelers seeking wellness-centric experiences. “We’re encouraged at how the evolution of our brand and on-site offerings has resonated with guests and owners so far. We look forward to bringing the EVEN Hotels experience and our vision for flexible, wellness-minded travel to more markets,” he said.
