Bourbon Parade on the Las Vegas Strip

Bourbon Parade: A Slice of New Orleans on the Las Vegas Strip

Las Vegas is about to get a taste of New Orleans’ vibrant culture with the grand opening of Bourbon Parade on Thursday, Oct. 19, at 4 p.m.

Situated at the Grand Bazaar Shops on the Las Vegas Strip, this unique bar promises to immerse visitors in the rich history, music, and spirit of New Orleans.

Drawing inspiration from the lively celebrations of the French Quarter, Bourbon Parade will host daily second line parades. These parades, characterized by a marching house brass band led by a flamboyant grand marshal, will transform onlookers into participants, dancing and waving handkerchiefs in true New Orleans style. Happening every 90 minutes, these parades are open to everyone, and guests can even book their own parade for special occasions.

Jason Boso, the founder of Bourbon Parade, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Bourbon Parade is not just a bar; it’s an experience. We aim to bring the heart and soul of New Orleans to Las Vegas, ensuring our guests are swept up in the infectious energy of our parades, music, and dance.”

To ensure authenticity, Bourbon Parade collaborated with some of New Orleans’ finest musicians, conducting auditions and intensive training sessions in jazz and swing styles. The venue’s house players, who have been rehearsing for months, include a diverse range of musicians, from drummers to trumpeters. Special guest musicians will also grace the stage regularly.

But what’s a New Orleans-inspired bar without signature cocktails? Bourbon Parade boasts a menu of classic drinks, including the Mardi Gras Punch, Hurricane, and the world-renowned Dreamsicle Fizz. This effervescent cocktail, inspired by the 1880s Ramos Gin Fizz, combines Gator Bite Satsuma Rum, vanilla vodka, Cointreau, and other ingredients, topped with a delightful egg white foam or “fizz.” Patrons can even customize their drinks with printed images on the foam for an added touch.

The ambiance of Bourbon Parade is further enriched by hand-crafted artistic elements. Artists globally have contributed to the venue’s decor, from handmade tap handles to vintage jazz posters, capturing the essence of New Orleans.

For those looking to host private or corporate events, Bourbon Parade offers exclusive spaces, ensuring every occasion is memorable.

Located at 3619 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Ste. 100, Bourbon Parade will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. from Sunday to Thursday and until 3 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Entry is complimentary, but guests must be 21 or older.
