Lviv Hosted 4th Event Industry Forum 2021

The Ukrainian city of Lviv hosted its fourth Event Industry Forum on February 19-20 at the Lviv Arena stadium.

It was held in a hybrid format and brought together stakeholders of the event industry.

They shared their experience of overcoming the crisis and created strategies for adapting to new conditions.

Lviv Convention Bureau presented its updated website at the forum, which had a completely new section “Plan an event”.

The section will help you choose the location, hotel, and suppliers for the conference event in Lviv.

Apart from this, LCB moderated the panel discussion “MICE AGAINST THE PANDEMIC”.

Experts discussed adaptation of conference events to new realities and norms shared their cases (IT Arena Conference, ICE Kraków Congress Centre, Kyiv Expo Plaza, Business Concentrate).

Lviv Presents Financial Support to Conference Industry

A total of 63 institutions and organizations participated in a competition that has a total prize of 1 million UAH. (approx. US$35,860 or €29,670)

The competition has 7 areas: science, medicine, education, tourism, culture, business, youth. The Election Commission reviewed 39 international and 24 national conferences. Based on the results of consideration and evaluation of the submitted applications, 45 winners were selected.

They will receive:
– co-financing;
– information support;
– expert support from Lviv Convention Bureau.

In selecting the winners, the Election Commission took into account criteria, including the status of the event, membership in associations, the presence of a conference in the ICCA list, rotation between cities, the financial contribution of applicants.
