M.I.C.E.-in-the-bag announces the success of its seventh event, held in Amsterdam on 10th December 2019 at The QO Amsterdam, a remarkable living building and one of the most sustainable hotels in Europe.
The unique formula events are invitation-only gatherings between MICE suppliers and budget-approved buyers – fostering a friendly straight-to-business approach which saves time and investment for both parties, and therefore greater possibilities in price and value offerings. The event included buyers from Germany, Sweden, Holland, Portugal, France, Belgium and the UK alongside suppliers from Slovenia, Italy, Turkey, Holland and the Principality of Monaco. Interesting is the wide range of facilities embraced by the suppliers: from big conference centres to smart countryside hotels.
Initial matches are arranged between buyers and suppliers, according to their needs, and meetings take place throughout the day in a relaxed environment. All the Amsterdam participants were pretty satisfied with the event, providing unparalleled business opportunities only thanks to this unusual formula.
To enhance the gatherers getting together and developing a friendly relationship, M.I.C.E.-in-the-bag local partner, DMC Amsterdam, organised on the day prior to the event an entertainment visit to This is Holland, an attraction featuring a 5D flight simulation with wind & water effects over Holland’s famous sights, and, soon after the event, a dinner at an Italian restaurant with unforgettable performances by professionally singing service.
Other experiences included a visit to the QO’s green house herbal farm and a site inspection, followed by a welcome dinner, at the gorgeous Intercontinental Amsterdam.
