MyCEB Showcases Malaysia’s Event Potential at The Meetings Show London 2024

Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) made a significant impact at The Meetings Show London, held from June 19 to 20, 2024, at ExCeL London, United Kingdom.

This prestigious event offered an excellent platform for Malaysia to highlight its booming business events industry, capturing the interest of international buyers and event organizers.

MyCEB, alongside influential industry players such as Business Events Sarawak, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre, Borneo Convention Centre Kuching, Sabah International Convention Centre, Sunway Resort Hotel, Marriott Hotels IOI Resort City Putrajaya, and Destination Asia Malaysia, proudly represented Malaysia at this distinguished participation under the Malaysian Pavilion. Their collective mission to position Malaysia as the ultimate destination in Asia, spotlight its unrivaled capabilities, state-of-the-art facilities, and culturally immersive experiences.

MyCEB’s consistent presence at The Meetings Show London since 2017 underscores its dedication to the global industry. From 2017 to 2023, their efforts resulted in attracting 6,625 delegates from various business events segments, contributing an estimated economic impact of RM116 million. Kuala Lumpur, Sabah, and Sarawak have emerged as popular destinations due to their strategic connectivity, urban sophistication, and rich biodiversity.

The show provided a dynamic platform for Malaysian delegates to engage with a wide range of international business events stakeholders. They highlighted Malaysia’s advanced infrastructure, modern amenities, and unique attractions, reinforcing Malaysia’s readiness to host large-scale international conferences and exhibitions.

Visitors to the Malaysian Pavilion explored Malaysia’s distinctive offerings through initiatives like the MyTripleE Campaign and Subvention and Support Programmes. These immersive packages offered a closer look at Malaysia’s warm hospitality and efficient logistical capabilities. Additionally, visitors enjoyed Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage through captivating displays of local crafts, adding an authentic Malaysian charm to the show.
