The Tunisian National Tourist Office has won the coveted Travel Bulletin Star Africa Tourist Office award for the second year running. The Travel Bulletin Star Awards 2015 is the UK travel trade’s most prestigious awards programme. The award is voted for by UK travel agents.
Tarek Aouadi, Director said: “It is always an honour to win an award – especially for the second year in a row – but this one is extra special. It is no secret that Tunisia has had a very difficult year, and it is heart-warming to know that we have so much support from the travel trade at this time. Thank you to all those travel agents who voted for us and who continue to support us.”
The Tunisian government recently announced that the tourist departure tax, which was previously 30 dinars, has been abolished as of 31st August 2015.
