Avolta AG, a leader in global travel experiences, has solidified its operations in Türkiye by securing a nine-year contract to operate 26 food & beverage (F&B) outlets at Istanbul’s Sabiha Gökçen International Airport.
This agreement not only renews Avolta’s commitment to its existing 22 F&B locations but also introduces four new outlets, enhancing the airport’s dining landscape.
Luis Marin, Avolta’s President and CEO for Europe, Middle East, and Africa, expressed enthusiasm about continuing the company’s successful partnerships in F&B and travel retail at Sabiha Gökçen Airport. Avolta, now unified under a new brand name, aims to provide a comprehensive service offering, incorporating innovative traveler-focused technologies and services, including a QR-based ordering and payment platform named Your Order Please.
4 New Dining Outlets
The F&B offerings from Avolta cater to the varied tastes of international travelers, featuring global brands like KFC and Starbucks, alongside local favorites such as 40 Degrees Bar & Brewery and Karafırın. The addition of four new establishments is anticipated to further diversify the culinary options available to passengers, blending international and local influences.
Among the new ventures are two Karafırın outlets, known for their cozy atmosphere and modern twist on traditional Turkish delicacies. Additionally, Avolta plans to launch a unique bar in collaboration with Anadolu Efes, celebrating the rich beer culture of Türkiye and Europe.
This contract extension with Sabiha Gökçen International Airport is a testament to Avolta’s prowess in creating exceptional dining and retail experiences. It aligns with the company’s Destination 2027 strategy, aiming to enhance traveler satisfaction and underscore Avolta’s commitment to the airport’s ongoing development.
