Elite World Hotels & Resorts has opened Elite World Comfy Istanbul Avcilar, adding a new property to its Istanbul network as the company marks its 50th year in tourism. The hotel is now welcoming guests in Avcilar, on the D100, one of the city’s main transport routes.
The company said the new opening supports its broader growth strategy in Türkiye and abroad. It is aimed at business travellers, exhibitors, event attendees, city visitors and domestic and international tourists looking for a central place to stay.
The hotel has 48 rooms, a 200-square-metre spa area, a restaurant and a cafe. Elite World said the property reflects the more contemporary and accessible service style of its Comfy brand.
Orkun Petekci, chief executive of Elite World Hotels & Resorts, said the opening was part of the group’s expansion during its anniversary year.
“As we celebrate our 50th year, we continue to grow with new hotel openings. Elite World Comfy Istanbul Avcilar is an important part of our growth strategy. Our new hotel in Istanbul is also one of the concrete examples of our new period approach, expressed by our ‘One World Exists’ motto. With our brands that respond to different needs in different cities, we aim to offer our guests not just accommodation, but an experience-focused world,” said Orkun Petekci.
Ahmet Soner Dursun, general manager of Elite World Comfy Istanbul Avcilar, said the hotel was positioned to support commercial activity in the area.
“Our hotel is located at an important point that will support commercial activity in the region. We aim for our property to become a new meeting point for business, events and visitors,” said Ahmet Soner Dursun.
Elite World said the hotel’s central location, modern design and functional spaces are intended to offer a comfortable stay in the middle of city life. The opening adds to the group’s franchised portfolio as it continues to expand in Türkiye and overseas.
The group has not said how many more hotels it plans to open, but it said it is continuing to add properties under its franchise model. The latest opening comes as the company builds on five decades in the tourism sector and seeks to widen its reach in both domestic and international markets.
