OK Mobility Expands to Turkey with New Store at Istanbul Airport

Global mobility platform, OK Mobility, continues its international expansion by entering the Turkish market with the inauguration of its new OK Store in Istanbul.

This city, positioned as a significant tourism destination and a bridge between the continents of Asia and Europe, now hosts the new OK Store at the Istanbul Airport (IST). According to the International Airports Council (ACI) figures, in 2022, IST was Europe’s largest and the world’s seventh-largest airport in terms of passenger volume.

With this launch, the Mallorca-based company increases its presence in markets to 15, marking its entry into a new market that ranks as the fourth country in the world to receive the most international tourists, following France, Spain, and the USA. Istanbul is not only one of the country’s largest cities due to its strategic location on the Bosphorus but is also seen as a meeting point of cultures and one of the destinations with the highest increase in user demand.

OK Mobility’s CEO, Othman Ktiri, celebrated the company’s entry into this “exciting” market, stating, “OK Mobility’s entry into Turkey is another indicator of our company’s commitment to providing mobility solutions in Southeast Europe, a destination increasingly preferred by tourists from all over the world. Turkey also represents an exhilarating market that aligns with the spirit of OK Mobility, serving as a bridge and meeting point between two continents. Our primary goal is, of course, to continue offering all our mobility solutions to users in new destinations.”

Savaş Serdar Turna, Country Manager for OK Mobility in Turkey, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “As a follower of the industrial revolution that OK Mobility has achieved in Europe over the last decade, I am particularly excited to lead and realize the OK Mobility project in my home country, Turkey.” Turna continued, “I also believe it’s essential to emphasize that OK Mobility will be the only car rental brand operating corporately in Turkey through its subsidiary.”

The new OK Store at Istanbul Airport is now open to serve OK Mobility users. Reservations for car rentals in Istanbul can be made via okmobility.com.
