Pegasus Airlines has announced the launch of a new route connecting Istanbul and Bratislava.
The new direct service began today, May 15, 2024, offering passengers a convenient option to travel between these two cities.
Flights will operate twice weekly, departing from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport on Wednesdays and Sundays at 11:55 and 10:20 local time. Return flights from Bratislava Airport will leave at 14:00 and 12:30 on the same days. The introductory fare starts at €39.99 one-way.
Emre Pekesen, Sales and Network Planning Group Director of Pegasus Airlines, expressed his excitement about the new route. “We are delighted to be launching a scheduled service connecting Bratislava and Slovakia with the Turkish metropolis of Istanbul,” he said.
“This marks our 100th international route, with flights operating twice a week between Bratislava Airport and our hub, Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport.”
Pekesen highlighted the unique experience Pegasus Airlines offers and announced another upcoming route. “We are also looking forward to launching flights between Bratislava and Antalya from May 18, 2024, for the summer season,” he added. He also thanked the management of Bratislava Airport for their exceptional cooperation.
Dušan Novota, Chairman of the Board and General Director of the M. R. Štefánik Airport, welcomed the new service. “At Bratislava Airport, we are welcoming a brand new scheduled air carrier today, which will operate its direct flights to Istanbul not only in the summer but also in the winter season,” he said.

He also mentioned the additional direct route to Antalya and other scheduled and charter flights to Antalya, predicting a record number of passengers flying from Bratislava to Türkiye this year.
Pegasus Airlines continues to expand its network, now covering 138 destinations, including 35 within Türkiye and 103 international destinations.
