Turkish low cost carrier Pegasus announced a new route from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport to Israel’s Eilat (Ovda Airport). Pegasus’ flights to Eilat, its second destination in Israel after Tel Aviv, are launching on 1 December 2015, with three times weekly flights scheduled between London Gatwick and Stansted Airports and Ovda Airport via Istanbul’s Sabiha Gokcen Airport.
Located 60 km from Israel’s famous beach town Eilat, fares for the Ovda Airport route from London Stansted via Istanbul start at £72.84 and from London Gatwick start at £74.66 including taxes and charges.
Flights from London Gatwick and Ovda Airport will depart at 11.45 from London Gatwick on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays and return from Ovda Airport at 04.00 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Flights from Stansted will depart at 13.20 from London Stansted on the same days as Gatwick, and return from Ovda at 04.00 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
