SunExpress, the joint venture between Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, continues to increase its flights between Turkey and Europe during the 2019 summer season. SunExpress is connecting a total of 12 Anatolian cities with direct scheduled flights to Europe’s 16 cities, with capacity growth of 30 per cent this summer compared to the previous year.
As of June, SunExpress, the first and only airline to fly the most with direct and scheduled flights between Anatolia and European cities, has started operating direct flights to Cologne and Düsseldorf from Ordu Giresun Airport.
SunExpress operating direct scheduled flights from 12 Anatolian cities including Kutahya, Malatya, Adana, Ankara, Gaziantep, Elazığ, Konya, Kayseri, Ordu-Giresun, Samsun, Trabzon and Diyarbakir to 16 cities in Europe has launched new flights during the summer season which are: Ankara – Berlin, Malatya – Düsseldorf, Kütahya/Zafer – Düsseldorf, Samsun – Cologne, Diyarbakir – Stuttgart, Elazığ – Stuttgart, Konya – Stuttgart and Konya – Oslo.

Serving with the largest fleet in its history with 84 aircraft this year, SunExpress continues to explore new opportunities and collaborate with innovative solutions to make passengers’ journeys more enjoyable from beginning to end. SunExpress, which was the first airline to offer its passengers the option of booking flights by voice command, has also recently begun offering passengers on selected flights the opportunity to order meals from famous restaurants in their cities. In summer, SunExpress also offers Virtual Reality Entertainment via VR headsets on several flights from Antalya.
