Shopping in Milan just got more glamorous with the opening of a new Celine store at the corner of Via Montenapoleone and Via Sant’Andrea, one of the city’s most prestigious luxury shopping intersections.

The Parisian fashion house has unveiled a 600 sq m space spread over two floors, bringing together Women’s, Men’s and accessories collections alongside Celine Haute Parfumerie & Beauté.

The new store strengthens Celine’s presence in Milan, a city synonymous with design, fashion and craftsmanship. Located in the heart of the fashion district, the opening positions the brand at the centre of Italy’s luxury retail scene, where global labels compete for attention from style-conscious travellers and locals alike.

A new fashion destination in Milan’s golden quadrilateral

The architectural language of the store reflects Celine’s refined, minimalist identity, while embracing materials that feel both monumental and intimate. Natural stones dominate the interiors, including Oyster Calacatta, Arabescato and Grand Antique marbles, paired with extra-clear mirrors in antique gold and striking black lacquered walls. The result is a space that feels quietly opulent without tipping into excess.

A polished gold metallic staircase anchors the store, connecting the two levels with a modernist, sculptural presence. Its structure is enhanced with oak and glass blades, intermittently side-lit to reference the vintage wood furniture found throughout the space. This careful layering of materials creates a rhythm as visitors move between floors, encouraging a slower, more considered shopping experience.

The ground level is dedicated to leather goods, accessories and fine jewellery, as well as Celine Haute Parfumerie & Beauté. This layout allows visitors to browse signature bags, small leather pieces and fragrances in an open, gallery-like setting before moving upstairs. The upper floor houses Women’s and Men’s ready-to-wear collections, textile accessories and Celine Maison, arranged alongside open resting areas and private salons designed for a more relaxed pace.

Beyond fashion, the store also positions itself as a cultural space. A curated selection of artworks forms part of the Celine Art Project, integrating contemporary art into the retail environment. Paintings by Susan Rothenberg, Luisa Gardini, Giangiacomo Rossetti and Samuel Hindolo are displayed alongside sculptures by Peter Schlesinger, John Duff, Simone Fattal and Yngve Holen, blurring the boundary between boutique and gallery.

For travellers, the new opening adds another reason to linger in Milan’s golden quadrilateral, an area already known for its concentration of luxury brands, historic architecture and café-lined streets.
