The 2023 Formula One World Championship will feature the Las Vegas Grand Prix, the organizers said on Thursday.
“The world-famous neon lights of Las Vegas will provide the backdrop to Formula 1’s newest race when the American city hosts a night event from 2023,” Formula 1 said in a statement.
It added that the Las Vegas GP will be run “on a Saturday next November,” and will join Miami and Austin, the other US Grands Prix in Formula 1.
The F1 is usually organizing races on Sunday, but the Las Vegas race will be held on a Saturday night, which is a rare habit.
In November 2023, the drivers will appear on the Las Vegas Strip as they will race on a 3.8-mile (6.1-kilometer) circuit, where there are famous hotels and casinos nearby.
The racetrack will have 14 turns, and three straights.
The 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix was said to be run over 50 laps.
Las Vegas previously hosted the 1981 and 1982 Grands Prix in the Formula 1 series.
