Fulham Football Club Partners with WebBeds

In a significant sports and business collaboration, Fulham Football Club has teamed up with WebBeds, a leading global online marketplace for the travel trade.

This partnership, spanning multiple years, will position WebBeds as the Club’s Official Sleeve Partner, starting from the 2023/24 season.

The much-anticipated WebBeds logo made its debut on the sleeve of the Club’s jerseys on Saturday, 5th August, during a pre-season friendly match at Craven Cottage, where Fulham FC welcomed TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. Importantly, this branding extends across the Men’s, Women’s, and Academy teams.

With a presence in a whopping 139 countries globally, WebBeds seeks to strengthen its foothold in the UK and the wider European market through this partnership. The tie-up embodies WebBeds’ ambitious growth trajectory, especially as the global travel sector emerges from recent challenges.

Speaking about WebBeds’ strategic move into sports collaboration, CEO Daryl Lee articulated, “Our alliance with Fulham FC marks a pivotal phase for WebBeds. It underscores our unwavering commitment to enhancing our global brand visibility, expediting our growth initiatives, and setting unparalleled benchmarks in offering value to our global clientele of hoteliers and travel industry professionals. The zeal and fervour displayed by Fulham on the soccer field mirror our ambitions. As the season unfolds, we anticipate creating a myriad of memorable experiences for our partners and the club’s ardent fans.”

Jon Don-Carolis, Commercial Director at Fulham Football Club, expressed the Club’s enthusiasm about the partnership. He remarked, “It’s an honour to have WebBeds on board as the Club’s Official Global Accommodation Marketplace Partner, Official Sleeve Partner, and as our Principal Partner for the 2023/24 season. Both entities, Fulham FC and WebBeds, are driven by a spirit of innovation and a commitment to delivering top-notch service. We are eager to witness the transformative effect of our combined energies in the coming seasons.”

Fulham Football Club was formed in 1879 as a local boys’ church side, Fulham St Andrew’s. The oldest of London’s first-class clubs, Fulham FC has a long and colourful history, spanning over 140 years, and is rightly positioned as London’s Original Football Club with its home, Craven Cottage, having hosted matches since 1896.

Promotion to the Premier League was first achieved in 2001 and the team remained in England’s top division until 2013. The Club reached the final of the inaugural Europa League in 2010, losing to Atletico Madrid 2-1 in extra-time. Recent successes have included promotion to the Premier League by winning the Championship Play-Off Finals in 2018 & 2020. The Club also achieved promotion to the Premier League in 2022 by winning the Championship.

Fulham FC Chairman Shahid Khan, owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League, purchased the Club in 2013.
