The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has selected TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois, along with Visit Quad Cities and St. Ambrose University (Iowa), as hosts for the 2025 and 2026 NAIA Men’s Golf National Championships.
“On behalf of Visit Quad Cities and our partners, we are excited to once again welcome the NAIA Men’s Golf National Championships back to the Quad Cities in 2025 and 2026,” said Joan Kranovich, Vice President of Business Growth & Director, Sports QC at Visit Quad.
“Our long-standing partnership with the NAIA, St. Ambrose University, and TPC Deere Run has consistently provided a world-class experience for student-athletes, coaches, and fans.”
TPC Deere Run is a PGA-owned and operated 18-hole golf course located along the bluffs of the Mississippi River.
“TPC Deere Run’s combination of visual beauty and strategic challenges make it one of the best golf courses in the nation,” said Austin Bennett, Championships Director, NAIA.
“We are honored to be working with Visit Quad Cities and St. Ambrose University to bring the men’s golf national championship to this best-in-class facility.”
The 2025 NAIA Men’s Golf National Championship is scheduled for May 20–23 and features a four-round stroke play tournament with up to 30 teams and a maximum of 156 total golfers.
“Our goal is to always provide the qualifiers with an experience that reflects the special nature of a national championship,” said Michael Holmes, Athletics Director, St. Ambrose University.
“With the organization of Visit Quad Cities, the PGA-level quality of Deere Run, and the volunteer efforts from St. Ambrose personnel, I am proud of the high-level championship we offer in the Quad Cities.”
Each national championship team consists of five players, and the top four daily scores are counted toward the team’s standing. Additionally, each golfer competes for the individual national title alongside team awards.
Qualification occurs through various conference tournaments, with each championship team qualifying four to five individuals and individual medalists qualifying if their team fails to advance.
Additionally, at-large berths are available for the highest-ranked teams and individuals not already qualified.
