Gambling software developer firm Playtech has teamed up with Parx Interactive and Gun Lake Casino to announce their new Michigan igaming mobile app.
Play Gun Lake will be powered by Playtech’s IMS platform and Play Account Management to showcase a wide range of gambling content from Playtech.
This launch forms part of the partnership announced earlier this year in February between Playtech and Parx Interactive, including additional roll-outs in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Indiana, amongst other jurisdictions in the US.
This milestone also marks the latest announcement in Playtech’s ongoing growth plans, after the group announced several strategies for partnerships and even put forth its plans to open a live casino studio and secured a multi-year lease in Michigan.
Matthew Cullen, senior vice president of iGaming and Sports at Parx Casino, claims, ‘We are extremely delighted to launch playgunlake.com and to bring the success of Parx into the Michigan igaming market’. He goes on to say that Parx is continually on the lookout to expand its opportunities to further enhance user experience, which is why this collaboration with Playtech came into fruition at precisely the right time.
Playtech is also immensely pleased with this partnership, as mentioned by its Chief Operating Officer, Shimon Akad. ‘The launch of Playtech’s igaming partnership with Parx Casino is another key milestone in the development and delivery of our US strategy’.
Akad claims that ‘The US is a highly sophisticated market and therefore demands a technology solution that provides a high-quality customer experience. We look forward to continuing our work with Parx Casino to deliver industry leading gambling entertainment across multiple states and products.’
Are you wondering what’s special about Michigan’s new igaming app? Taking a closer look at Play Gun Lake, this is an app that will provide flexibility and convenience for online betting on your favourite games. The mobile app offers all of your favourite games, including classic slots, video slots and progressive jackpots. You will have the opportunity at bonus rounds, free spins, and so much more.
Slot lovers are not the only gamblers who will benefit from this app. All of your favourite table games are also available such as blackjack, baccarat and roulette. If you are a live dealer games fan, this will also be coming soon to the app for an authentic live experience.
This partnership and news of further roll-outs is music to New Jersey’s ears, in particular. Data from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement shows that in 2020, online gaming’s Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR) saw an increase of 101% over the year of 2019. It’s safe to say that NJ online casinos have the upper hand when compared to their counterparts in the US since the iGaming market has had more time to mature, offering more casino games and operators such as 888 Casino Tropicana and William Hill.
This collaboration is the latest in a string of strong developments in the igaming industry, with Playtech also announcing partnerships like Sky Vegas, Kindred Group, Betsson Group, among others.
