The world’s largest car rental provider, Enterprise Holdings, today announced that its Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands are now available in Finland with the official opening of nine new locations across the country, including a new site at Helsinki Airport.
This follows an agreement between LänsiAuto Group and Enterprise Holdings to introduce the three brands to Finland. Enterprise’s strategy is to extend access to its car rental services across the whole of continental Europe by partnering with experts in each country with a strong reputation for customer care.
The nine new locations already operate a fleet of more than 500 cars and vans with plans to extend the business through further branch openings later this year. The branches will serve a diverse and growing customer base looking for on-demand mobility, especially in the eight home city locations, which are all based near car dealerships for added convenience. Home city customers include local business and leisure motorists needing rapid access to a vehicle, as well as replacement users who need a vehicle when their own car is being serviced or repaired.
Customers using Enterprise, National and Alamo rental services in Finland will benefit from a number of global customer programmes. These include membership of Enterprise Plus and the Emerald Club from National Car Rental, both of which offer rewards based on the level of usage. The Enterprise family of brands is already available in more than 90 countries, of which 40+ are in EMEA.
Martin Kullas, General Manager of Enterprise in Finland, said: “Now is the perfect time to introduce Enterprise, National and Alamo to customers in Finland. We are seeing significant growth in customers looking for convenient, quick access to on-demand mobility, both at the airport and from our home city locations. Rental is the ideal, sustainable solution for anyone needing access to the right vehicle, at the right place and the right time.
“Our new airport location is already seeing significant demand from customers in the UK, France, Germany and Italy, as well as those from North America. It is great to be part of a large, well-recognised, global organisation with a reputation for excellent value and customer care.”
Peter A Smith, Vice President of Global Franchising, Enterprise Holdings, said: “Offering a joined-up vehicle rental solution to our customers living, working and travelling across Europe is a key part of our customer service proposition. We want to be where our customers need us to be, so they can have a consistent experience wherever they travel.
“Launching in Finland is a vital part of building our European and global network. It is an important and growing market for both business and leisure use, and we are seeing strong demand both from people travelling to Finland and those who reside there.”
