Fans travelling to FIFA World Cup matches in Los Angeles will be able to reach SoFi Stadium by bus from more than a dozen transit hubs across the region, with LA Metro coordinating services alongside 10 regional transit partners and several charter bus operators.
Parking at Los Angeles Stadium, known as SoFi Stadium, will be limited during the tournament. Metro says stadium parking costs two to three times more than its own reserved parking rates, and is encouraging fans to use public transit instead.
Eight World Cup matches are scheduled at the Inglewood venue, located near Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Direct bus services will operate from 13 departure points across Los Angeles, Orange County, and the wider region, with routes designed to connect existing Metro rail and bus lines to the stadium.
Buses will drop passengers at one of three stadium lots: Lot R at the Intuit East Garage, Lot S at the intersection of Arbor Vitae Street and District Drive, or Lot T at Manchester Boulevard and Prairie Avenue. Walk times from drop-off points to the stadium range from 5 to 20 minutes depending on the lot.
Routes and Departure Points
The closest departure points to the stadium are on the Metro C Line. Services from Hawthorne/Lennox Station and Crenshaw Station both take around 15 minutes and drop fans at Lot R. Reserved parking at both locations costs $101.89 including fees. The LAX/Metro Transit Center, which connects to the C Line, K Line, Metro Micro, and a shuttle serving LAX terminals, is the recommended option for fans arriving by air. There is no parking at this location.
Fans staying near the airport can board at hotels along 98th Street, with buses stopping near the Courtyard by Marriott, Hyatt Regency, Sonesta, Sheraton Gateway, Embassy Suites, and Hilton properties. Reserved parking near this route ranges from $91.16 to $160.88 depending on the facility.
From south of the city, El Camino College in Torrance offers a 23-minute ride with parking at $101.89, while Harbor Gateway Transit Center in Gardena on the Metro J Line provides a lower-cost option at $69.71. Downtown Long Beach on the Metro A Line is the furthest south, with a journey time of around 50 minutes and parking available from $12, rising to $20 for the June 28 match.
Union Station in Downtown Los Angeles serves as the main hub for fans arriving by Metrolink, Amtrak, or Greyhound, as well as Metro A, B, D, and J Lines. The journey to the stadium takes around 40 minutes. Parking details for Union Station are still to be confirmed.
From the San Fernando Valley, services run from North Hollywood Station on the Metro B and G Lines and from Pierce College Station on the Metro G Line, with both routes taking around 75 minutes. Reserved parking at each is $58.99. Buses from these locations depart every 30 minutes from Pierce College.
West side options include Culver City Transit Center, with a 23-minute journey and parking at $112.61, and Downtown Santa Monica on the Metro E Line, which takes about one hour with parking at $78.65.
In Orange County, fans can board at ARTIC Anaheim Station, served by Metrolink, Amtrak, and OCTA buses, with a journey time of around 70 minutes, or at Newport Transportation Center in Newport Beach, around 75 minutes from the stadium. Parking details for both Orange County locations are still to be announced.
