The city of Las Vegas is known for being a gambling Mecca. It’s home to many of the biggest, most elaborately designed casino resorts in the world, from the Bellagio and the Luxor to Caesars Palace and the MGM Grand.

Stratosphere Tower
If you have a head for heights, take the elevator up to the top of Stratosphere Tower. Located north of the Vegas Strip, it’s the tallest tower in the city – and the tallest freestanding observation tower in the US – with a total height of 1,149 ft. Head to the top and you’ll find a rotating restaurant and four thrilling ride experiences: a tower ride that shoots you up, a spinning ride that takes you out over the edge of the tower, a ride similar to a see-saw that also takes you over the edge, and, last but not least, a controlled high-speed descent akin to a bungee jump.
Forum Shops at Caesars
The Caesars Palace resort includes the Forum Shops, a huge shopping mall. It’s home to over 150 shops, restaurants and bars, with a focus on offering the mid-range and luxury end of the spectrum. If you’ve got cash to splash, the Forum Shops is a good place to visit. What makes the mall particularly attractive is the lavish Roman theming that can be seen throughout and gives the place an opulent and high-end vibe.
Bellagio Fountains
One of Las Vegas’s most famous attractions is the Bellagio Fountains. This is a dancing water fountain show that’s played out on an 8-acre artificial lake separating the Strip from the Bellagio hotel. Not only is it easily accessible, it’s also completely free to watch and takes place multiple times each and every day.
Fremont Street
Get away from the hustle and bustle of the Strip and visit Fremont Street instead. Located in the city’s old downtown area, Fremont Street is a pedestrianised area roughly five blocks in size. It’s covered by a large canopy that glows with LED lights in the evening. All sorts of shops, restaurants and bars can be found here, and there’s a wide variety of street entertainment too.
High Roller Ferris wheel
For unparalleled views of the city, book a trip on the High Roller Ferris wheel. It takes you up 550 feet and is currently the world’s tallest Ferris wheel. If you enjoy being high up and taking in views from above, another attraction worth visiting is the Eiffel Tower at the Paris Las Vegas resort. This is a half-scale replica of the Parisian tower of the same name.
