UAE Suspends Visas to All Foreigners and Flights to Lebanon, Turkey, Syria, Iraq

Effective March 17, the UAE has suspended all visas to all foreigners. The only exception is for diplomatic passport holders. The move is part of the country’s precautionary measures against Covid-19.

In addition, the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) in the UAE has announced the suspension of all inbound and outbound flights to Lebanon, Turkey, Syria, and Iraq, with effect from March 17 until further notice.

The UAE announced 1 new coronavirus cases on Saturday, taking the total number of cases recorded in the country to 86. There are no deaths from the coronavirus and a total of 20 patients have fully recovered from the Covid-19 in the country.
