Alain St.Ange to speak at the IATA Regional Aviation Forum in Ghana

Alain St.Ange, President of the African Tourism Board to speak at the IATA Regional Aviation Forum in Ghana

Alain St.Ange, the President of the African Tourism Board, announced his invitation to attend IATA Regional Aviation Forum in Ghana.

The President of the African Tourism will participate as Moderator of the Panel Discussion on the topic “West and Central Africa as Preferred Tourism Destination: The Need for Greater Industry Synergy” scheduled for Tuesday June 25, 2019 and also for him to be a Guest Speaker. 

Discussions in the panel moderated by the President of the African Tourism Board is expected to examine steps West and Central African countries need to take to become preferred tourism destinations, including inducing synergy between sectors such as tourism, air transport, travel management and hotels. The forum will highlight the socio-economic prosperity that aviation can generate if properly adopted by West and Central African countries. This panel that will be moderated by Alain St.Ange will comprise the Ministers of Tourism of Ghana and that of Cote D’ Ivoire, CEO of Africa World Airlines, Country Manager of South African Airways, President of National Association of Nigerian Travel Agents and the Managing Director of Marriott Hotels.

Alain St.Ange was chosen to be President of the African Tourism Board during the World Travel Market (Africa) that was held in Cape Town earlier this year.

IATA Regional Aviation Forum for West and Central Africa is scheduled to take place on 24th & 25th of June 2019 in Accra, Ghana. 

Under the theme “Aviation: Business for Regional Prosperity”, this high-caliber event will bring together distinguished aviation decision makers and influencers, representing Governments, regulatory agencies, airlines, airports, air navigation service providers, tourism organizations, international and regional organizations, aviation suppliers and aircraft manufacturers from Africa, the Middle East and globally.
