Preparations continue for the Most Interactive MICE Event in Italy

Preparations are busily underway for the second edition of Italy at Hand – The Event. This MICE event entirely Made in Italy is organized by Convention Bureau Italia and planned in Rome for 7 to 9 November. Thirty-five leading lights of the Italian Meeting Industry will meet forty-five international Buyers in the most evocative locations of the Capital, to discover the best of Rome as a destination.

The objective of CBItalia is as simple as it is challenging: on the one hand, not to betray the expectations of buyers of experiencing classical and famous Roman sights coveted all over the world; but on the other hand, presenting the destinations in more novel guise, confirming the versatility and innovation that Rome is able to offer. 

The event’s Opening Night will be held in the splendid Galleria del Cardinale, a Baroque-era gem set in the heart of Palazzo Colonna. The stand-up dinner will be preceded by a tour of the very palace itself that will guide participants in the discovery of one of the most ancient patrician residences of Rome and still home to today’s heirs. Its construction dates back to the fourteenth century and the greatest artists of all times have crossed its threshold.

The Business Meetings will take place in Renzo Piano’s contemporary masterpiece, the Auditorium Parco della Musica, a multifunctional complex of over 38,000 square meters dedicated to all the arts. A truly multi-purpose “culture factory” unique in the world and visited by millions of people every year.

La Nuvola (or The Cloud) is the incredible and innovative center chosen to be the location of Italy at Hand’s Gala Dinner. It is an avant-garde complex to be found amidst the Capitoline rationalist and geometrical architectural area and the result of the genius of the archistar Massimiliano Fuksas.

CBItalia for Italy at Hand 2019 has made strategic partnerships with some of the most prestigious Italian brands: among the sponsors are Lavazza and Alitalia as Official Carrier of the event, companies that exemplify Italian excellence. The event’s associates include a number of strategic Media Partners, including Cat Publication and Ediman.
