Athens and Larnaca See More Frequent Flights from Gulf Air

Gulf Air, Bahrain’s flagship carrier, is set to enhance its European operations with increased flight frequencies to Athens, Greece, and Larnaca, Cyprus.

Starting from December 17, the airline will be offering 10 weekly flights to Athens and, following shortly after, will boost its Larnaca route with 3 weekly flights beginning December 20. This expansion is a strategic move to fortify Gulf Air’s presence in Europe and provide more travel options for its passengers.

The airline’s enhanced service is designed to provide added convenience and improved connectivity for travelers moving through Bahrain, whether they are staying in the kingdom or connecting to other destinations within Gulf Air’s extensive global network. With a history of direct flights to the Hellenic Republic dating back to 1980 and to the Republic of Cyprus since 1982, Gulf Air’s established routes to Athens and Larnaca are vital links in the airline’s international reach.

Passengers looking to travel on these expanded routes can purchase tickets through the airline’s official website, gulfair.com, or its mobile application. Additionally, bookings can be made by contacting the Gulf Air Contact Centre, visiting Gulf Air sales offices, or through any approved travel agency.

This increase in flights is expected to meet the growing demand for travel to and from these historic Mediterranean destinations. It will not only benefit travelers but also contribute to the cultural and economic exchange between Bahrain and the European cities.
