Hotel Covell
Hotel Covell opened in the trendy Los Angeles neighborhood of Los Feliz in February 2015. The all-suite boutique hotel takes up the top floor of a 1930s building. Designed by Sally Breer of the firm Co-Mingle, each of the five rooms—or “chapters”— tell the story of George Covell, a fictional character created by Breer and hotel owner Dustin Lancaster. Mama Shelter L.A.
A design-oriented lifestyle boutique hotels chain Mama Shelter opened its first U.S. property in July 2015. Mama Shelter Los Angeles is a 70-room hotel, located in Hollywood. Mama Shelter Los Angeles is 600meters away from the Capitol Records Building. The boutique hotel brand has properties in Paris, Marseille and Istanbul.
The Bicycle Hotel & Casino
Located just fifteen minutes from Downtown Los Angeles in Bell Gardens, The Bicycle Hotel & Casino brings a four-star luxury boutique experience to casino gaming in Southern California in December 2015. The new seven-story hotel offers 99 elegantly appointed modern rooms and signature suites, each designed as tranquil retreats, including the 2,040 square-foot Presidential Suite. The hotel also features a full resort spa, an elevated outdoor pool deck with private cabanas, multi-purpose event and private meeting space, a VIP Gaming area, and innovative dining concepts such as The Bike Brewery with 28 beers on tap and the Asian-fusion Phoenix Cafe. 2016 Hotel Openings in Los Angeles
Hotel Indigo Downtown Los Angeles
InterContinental Hotels Group will open its first Hotel Indigo hotel; IHG’s boutique hotel brand, in the city of Los Angeles, California. The 350-room, 18-story Hotel Indigo Downtown Los Angeles is a part of Metropolis project that also features three residential towers and a curated retail experience. The Hotel Indigo Downtown Los Angeles hotel, set to open in winter of 2016, will be located at 899 Francisco Street in the heart of Downtown L.A., linking the Financial District to L.A. Live, the Nokia Theatre, the Staples Center and Los Angeles Convention Center.

Aloft El Segundo – LAX
Aloft El Segundo will be L.A.’s first hotel under Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ boutique lifestyle brand. Located about two miles south of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the hotel features 246 rooms, Aloft’s xyz bar and 14,000 square feet of meeting space.
Courtyard by Marriott Santa Monica & Hampton Inn & Suites Santa Monica
Two select-service hotels are slated to open next March near what will be the western terminus of Metro Rail’s Expo Line in Santa Monica. Marriott’s Courtyard by Marriott Santa Monica will have 134 rooms. Hilton Worldwide’s Hampton Inn & Suites Santa Monica will have 143 rooms. Both hotels will be near the intersection of Colorado Avenue and Fifth Street, about four blocks east of the landmark Santa Monica Pier.
Dazzler The Clark
New York-based Chetrit Group is redeveloping a 113-year-old building on Downtown’s Hill Street between Pershing Square and Angels Flight into a boutique property called Hotel Clark. The 347-room hotel will fly the Dazzler badge under Latin American boutique hotelier Esplendor Hotels.
Dream Hollywood
The Dream Hotels lifestyle brand is slated to open in April 2016 along Hollywood’s “Cahuenga Corridor.” The local outpost of Hampshire Hotels’ luxury-boutique badge – Dream Hollywood – will have 182 rooms.
Hampton Inn & Suites Los Angeles Hollywood
A 112-room property under Hilton Worldwide’s Hampton Inn & Suites brand will open in Hollywood on Vine Street near Santa Monica Boulevard. The hotel will be within walking distance of the historic Pantages Theatre, Hollywood Walk of Fame and TCL Chinese Theatre.
Residence Inn Pasadena Old Town
Marriott International’s Residence Inn upscale select-service badge debuts in Pasadena. Residence Inn Pasadena Old Town will have 144 rooms and will be located on Pasadena’s Fair Oaks Avenue, three blocks north of Old Town’s Colorado Boulevard.
Hilton Garden Inn Burbank
In July 2016, Burbank’s first Hilton Garden Inn will open on San Fernando Boulevard with 209 rooms.
Hampton Inn & Suites Lax El Segundo
In August 2016, the 171-room Hampton Inn & Suites LAX El Segundo will debut on Sepulveda Boulevard near the south border of Los Angeles International Airport.
James West Hollywood, Los Angeles
Denihan Hospitality Group’s James luxury brand will make its West Coast debut in 2016 as part of CIM Group’s Sunset|La Cienega mixed-use project in West Hollywood. The James West Hollywood will total 286 rooms and includes two restaurants, a rooftop bar and about 10,000 square feet of meeting space.
Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Los Angeles-Glendale (Opening September 2016)
Hilton Worldwide’s Hampton by Hilton brand opens Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Los Angeles-Glendale. The 94-room hotel joins the Hampton by Hilton family of Hampton Inn by Hilton and Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton hotels. Located at 114 W. Colorado, the hotel showcases views of Glendale, the majestic San Gabriel Mountains and the breathtaking skyline of Los Angeles. It is located just steps from shopping, dining and entertainment at Americana at Brand and the famed Glendale Galleria’s unique and distinctive retail stores. With easy access to many California freeways, guests can also visit nearby downtown Los Angeles, Universal Studios and the tourist area of Hollywood. Burbank Bob Hope Airport is only nine minutes from the hotel.
