VisitKöln presents new Urban Art Map

Discover Cologne’s Street Art with the New Urban Art Map

VisitKöln, in partnership with Street Art Cities, unveils a new Urban Art Map to showcase Cologne’s dynamic street art.

This initiative places Cologne on the international street art map, highlighting works from both world-famous and emerging local artists.

The Urban Art Map serves as a digital gateway to explore Cologne’s urban art across different districts. Users can access bilingual details about the art pieces and their creators by clicking on map markers, enabling them to craft personalized tours or follow pre-set journeys. For those preferring physical maps, a printed version is available, which can be connected to the digital map via QR code, thanks to Cityleaks collaboration.

Jürgen Amann, CEO of the Cologne Tourist Board, said, “The Urban Art Map makes Cologne’s rich street art scene accessible in an innovative way and its content fits well with the interests of our target groups. We are proud to be part of this global network and to create this unique experience in collaboration with Street Art Cities and local partners such as Cityleaks.”

Bart Temme, founder of Street Art Cities, adds: “VisitKöln is our first choice for a partnership. Its vibrant street art scene and many cultural attractions make Cologne a must-see destination. Therefore we are incredibly excited to present the city to the global street art audience.”

The Urban Art Map is accessible online, with its print counterpart available at Tourist Information centers. The Street Art Cities app can be downloaded free of charge from the App Store, offering an on-the-go guide to Cologne’s street art treasures.
