American Airlines will launch new nonstop service between Miami International Airport and South Bimini in February 2026, providing travelers with a direct 30-minute connection to the Bahamian island. The flights will operate three times weekly, on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, departing Miami at 10:05 a.m. and returning from Bimini at 11:40 a.m.
The new route expands access to Bimini just in time for peak holiday travel, beginning on Valentine’s Day and President’s Day weekend. With more than 90 U.S. airports offering direct service into Miami, the flights will make the island easier to reach for travelers across the country.
