Hilton has opened reservations for Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur, marking the luxury brand’s long anticipated debut in Malaysia. Located in Kuala Lumpur’s prestigious Golden Triangle district, the all suite hotel introduces 268 luxury suites and aims to become a new destination for fine dining, wellness, celebrations and luxury stays in the Malaysian capital.
The hotel is situated close to Bukit Bintang, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and the Petronas Twin Towers. Reservations are now available ahead of the hotel’s official opening, with guests able to book a launch package that includes breakfast and Hilton Honors Points for qualifying stays.
The arrival of Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur expands Hilton’s luxury portfolio in Southeast Asia and introduces the brand’s signature blend of refined elegance and personalised service to Malaysia. The hotel embraces a hospitality philosophy known as Layan Tetamu, inspired by traditional Malaysian values of sincerity, intuition and attentive guest care.
The property features 268 all suite accommodations designed for both leisure and business travellers. Suites range from 80 square metre one bedroom accommodations to the expansive 745 square metre Waldorf Astoria Suite, offering generous living spaces, sophisticated interiors and panoramic views across the Kuala Lumpur skyline.
Over the coming months, the hotel plans to unveil a collection of dining, wellness and social experiences that will position the property as a destination beyond accommodation.
The culinary programme will include several signature restaurants and social venues developed in collaboration with internationally recognised chefs Garima Arora and Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Each venue will offer its own concept while contributing to the hotel’s ambition of becoming one of Kuala Lumpur’s leading dining destinations.
Wellness facilities will centre on the Waldorf Astoria Spa alongside a modern wellness centre offering personalised treatments, advanced therapies and dedicated spaces for fitness, movement and recovery. The hotel said these facilities are designed to balance relaxation with holistic wellbeing in a tranquil environment.
For meetings, celebrations and private events, the property will also feature a range of elegant venues intended for weddings, gala dinners, corporate gatherings and other milestone occasions. Hilton expects the hotel to become one of Kuala Lumpur’s premier addresses for luxury events and social functions.
Etienne Dalançon, General Manager of Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur, said, “Now open for reservations, Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur marks the reawakening of a truly iconic address, reimagined for a new generation of discerning travellers. We look forward to welcoming our first guests as the hotel begins to come to life.”
Opening Offer Includes Hilton Honors Points
To mark the launch, the hotel is offering the Waldorf Astoria Indulgence Escape package through its official website. The promotion includes daily breakfast and 15,000 Hilton Honors Points for members booking a minimum two night stay.
The opening of Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur reflects continued confidence in Malaysia’s luxury tourism market as international visitor numbers continue to recover. With its central location, spacious suites, high profile culinary partnerships and comprehensive wellness facilities, the hotel is expected to attract both international visitors and local residents seeking premium hospitality experiences in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
