Jet2holidays expands Jet2Weddings to 6 new destinations

Jet2holidays is expanding its wedding travel brand Jet2Weddings to 6 new destinations after what it described as strong demand in Cyprus and Greece. From the 2027 summer season, Türkiye, Portugal, Italy, Malta, Lanzarote and Santorini will join the programme.

The move lifts the number of countries served by Jet2Weddings to 7 and increases the number of wedding locations to 84. Independent travel agents will also be able to sell wedding packages in the new destinations through the company’s partnership with Perfect Weddings Abroad.

Jet2holidays said the packages will cover flights, hotel stays and transfers, while Perfect Weddings Abroad will handle the ceremonies and planning. Couples can choose from all-inclusive hotels, luxury properties, family-friendly resorts and adults-only venues, with weddings sold in Classic, Deluxe and Ultimate packages.

In Türkiye, the wedding destinations will be Antalya and Dalaman. In Portugal, the destination will be Algarve. Italy will include Sorrento, Malta will feature St Julian’s, while Santorini will offer Vourvoulos and Megalochori. Lanzarote options will include Puerto del Carmen, Playa Blanca and Puerto Calero.

Jet2holidays said couples booking in July for travel up to 31 October 2028 will get a £200 discount on Ultimate wedding packages. The company said the expansion follows the quick growth of Jet2Weddings, which it launched to tap demand for overseas ceremonies.

Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2holidays, said the Jet2Weddings brand had achieved important success in a short time and that the company was pleased to extend the service to 6 more destinations from summer 2027.

The move comes as operators look to capture higher-spending holidaymakers seeking destination weddings in Europe and the Mediterranean. For Jet2holidays, the expansion also strengthens ties with independent agents, who can now sell the packages across a wider network of resorts and ceremony locations.

Jet2Weddings’ growth reflects broader demand for packaged weddings that combine travel, accommodation and ceremony planning in one booking. The company’s focus on short-haul destinations also puts it in competition with other European wedding specialists offering a similar all-in-one model.
